FALL SPORTS REGISTRATION opens August 1, 2026 (thru Aug 15).  First practice date is Monday morning, August 24 (so plan your summer family vacations accordingly).

SUMMER TRAINING

If you want to be a serious xc runner, you need to take base training during the summer seriously, so you are ready to race in the fall.  But even if you are simply joining xc for wellness, you need to run at least 3 times per week over the summer to reduce your risk of injury once the season starts (when everyone runs every day, six days a week).  

Summer training requires self motivation!  There are no mandatory practices. With the new CIAC Rules, we may offer some group sessions, but mostly you need to run on your own or (best yet) gather a friend(s) to run with you. More suggestions on Summer Training, including XC Summer Camps, are posted on the tab to the left and on our Band app.

Transportation: We periodically travel out of town, both in-season and during the summer, to add variety to our training runs.  If you do not drive, or have parents who work and are unable to drive you, pls inform your coach so we can help arrange alternative plans because bus transportation is more limited this year.  We don't want anyone left out simply due to logistics!

IN SEASON HIGH HONOR ROLL 2025

Once again, XC leads the way with 25 student-athletes (i.e., 74% of the entire team) achieving High Honors academically IN-SEASON: Natalia, Lillian, Darris, Sofia, Hannah, Madison, Brie, Edward, Avery, Gavin D, Gavin F, Luke, Jacob, Gabbie, Natalie, Murtaza, Ishaan, Sean, Jerry, Aiden, Braden, Kenna, Charlie, Gabe, and Riley. Way to represent!
